Allison Person is the owner and executive stylist of Salon 22. Before entering the world of beauty, she attended the University of Memphis and headed to corporate America working for both ServiceMaster and Fed Ex. After five years, Allison felt that she wasn’t doing what she was most passionate about and decided to enroll in the Tennessee Academy of Cosmetology in Memphis. Upon graduation, she dived into the world of beauty and began defining her own hairstyling techniques. With an innate consideration for exceptional customer service and her naturally charismatic spirit, it wasn’t long before Allison’s name was being mentioned among the best of the best stylists in the city of Memphis.
After six years of perfecting her personal flair for hair in some of the city’s most renowned beauty parlors, Allison set out to open the ultimate beauty salon. Upon solidifying a team of cut and color experts, extension aficionados, and a resident makeup guru, Allison opened Salon 22 on September 29, 2010. Salon 22 strives to provide an experience that reaches further than the styling chair. Clients are often invited to join in-house beauty events, attend beauty conferences, and participate in salon-wide community service projects. Periodically, Allison and her team host “Beauty Bashes,” which feature sponsored giveaways, games, and featured small business owners.
Allison’s TwentyTwo Technique has set her and her team of stylists apart as extension experts in the Mid-south. She speaks periodically at local cosmetology schools and recruits standout cosmetologists to join her style team throughout the year. With her rich personality and even richer knowledge of the various hair types represented across the Mid-south, Allison welcomes all to visit Salon 22 for the best in service and style.
Allison performs styling services by appointment only each week. She is a wife and proud mom to baby girl Alana Symone. During her free time, Allison enjoys to spend time with her family and friends. She also contributes and volunteers for various local non-profit organizations.
